For an entire weekend, La Costa Beach & Golf Resort was the meeting place of the international convention of editors, attended by more than fifty European editors of newspapers and magazines of the press distributor company SGEL.

The convention is held every two years and brings together publishing companies and tourist areas, one of their complementary markets.

The SGEL operates throughout Spain distributing international publications all year round to the stable colonies of foreign residents, particularly in points of the Valencian Community, the Balearic Islands or Andalusia, and during holiday times in places with a great tourist influx.

The planned meetings and contacts between publishers and those responsible for the distribution left time for participants to enjoy the facilities at the Pals resort and to go on organised trips to Pals, Palafrugell, Calella and Begur.
