Recently, we have been able to rediscover the pleasure of taking part in face-to-face MICE workshops, such as the Iberian MICE Forum which was held in Sitges.

On this occasion, we explained the Costa Brava Girona MICE together with our partners Palau de Congressos de Girona, Girona City Convention Bureau, Evenia Olympic Palace, Hotel Empordà Golf Resort, Hotel Camiral and PGA Catalunya Resort and Hotel Peralada Wine Spa & Golf in 25 meetings with national event planners.

Some weeks before, the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau team, accompanied by representatives from Casa Anamaria Hotel & Villas, Hotel Camiral PGA Catalunya Resort, Hotel Empordà Golf and Hotel Santa Marta, travelled to Madrid to participate in the Meeting & Incentive Summit (MIS 21), the event organised by EventoPlus for the national business tourism sector.

This year, around fifty exhibitors and thirty agencies in the sector attended. During the event, the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau’s business, conference and incentive tourism facilities and services were presented, and 35 meetings were held.

The event was a great opportunity to reconnect with professionals from the sector in the national market and to inform them about how businesses in the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees have adapted their range of MICE activities.

With actions like these, we are reinforcing the promotion of the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees’ MICE facilities and services in the Spanish market.

Just as other MICE organisations have done, the M&I team opted for an online format for the M&I Wyred Meets Spain & Portugal event.

In this edition, despite being virtual and smaller than usual, we were able to present the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees’ MICE activities to the different European organisers who attended. The attendees all appreciated the opportunity to consider an alternative to the large capitals, without the crowds and in spectacular natural surroundings that offer a wide range of options.
