The Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau brought attention to the offer on the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees as an alternative business tourism destination to large European cities, at the Mood Serrano venue in Madrid.
Directors of organising agencies and representatives of companies and associations with head offices in Madrid interacted with the 20 representatives of accommodation, service companies and activity organisers from the Girona province, who specialise in business tourism and who participated at the event.
During the meeting, they took part in creative proposals with the main thread following a love story on the Costa Brava, showing different aspects of the destination’s MICE offer.
They enjoyed a sensorial experience through gastronomy, participating in a tapas workshop, they discovered the secrets of cocktails and tried out their artistic skills by writing the lyrics to a habanera and shooting a film.
During the cocktail-evening meal, attendants tasted diverse gastronomic proposals prepared using Girona Excel·lent products and served with DO Empordà wines.
The event was attended by Ramon Ramos, the general director of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, and by Domènec Espadalé, the president of the Girona Chamber of Commerce.
Afterwork Costa Brava was part of the Costa Brava Week organised by the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, a set of meetings aimed at travel agents, digital influencers and journalists from Madrid and its catchment area.
