Day 1 in the afternoon
The programme kicks off with a group activity to learn about and participate in the habitat conservation project for the Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park led by Associació Sèlvans.
Afterwards, a short drive will take you to Pals to check into La Costa Beach & Golf Resort, located just 100 metres from Pals beach. You’ll be free until supper time to make the most of the large open spaces and the range of leisure options to be found within the complex’s facilities.
Day 2
You’ll set out from La Costa Beach & Golf Resort for the morning’s Burricleta ride, pedalling along on an e-bike to explore the area’s medieval villages and natural landscapes. It’s great fun and ideal for everyone.
And there’s bound to be a chance to stop off and taste the delicious local produce before leaving for Palamós.
Once at the Fishing Museum in Palamós, you’ll experience seafood cuisine first-hand at the Espai del Peix culinary centre, with a guided visit and a fish cookery workshop, ending with a tasting menu based on local fishermen’s style cooked seafood.
You’ll spend the afternoon at the exclusive facilities of the Hotel Sallés Mas Tapiolas, in Santa Cristina d’Aro. The hotel has stunning views over the Solius valley and its monastery. The hotel’s seventy hectares of gardens and Mediterranean woodland and its sports facilities, which include an outdoor swimming pool, a padel court and 18-hole golf course, make it the ideal place for all sorts of group outdoor activities.
The day will end in the city of Girona, with free time until it’s time for the closing dinner at the Double Tree by Hilton Girona, where you’ll stay overnight before leaving the next day for your homeward journey.
