Lately, we have had the opportunity to meet with French and Belgian professional event planners to share ideas and proposals for organising meetings, incentive trips and events on the Costa Brava and in the Girona Pyrenees.

We took part in the BBT Online Workshop organised in Brussels. It was a great opportunity to make contact with event planners in individual meetings and a very dynamic group working session. The Belgian planners particularly appreciated the creativity seen in the formats and proposals with added value in gastronomy, wine-tourism, wellness and culture.

The action continued with roadshows, first in Lille and then in Aix-en-Provence and Marseille to meet MICE agencies and business tourism agents in the region.

The professionals expressed a great deal of interest in the good connections with Girona airport and the high-speed train options. The city of Girona was viewed as an alternative and authentic option with many possibilities for organising nearby activities.
