In September, Banyoles Lakes was the setting for the DBanyoles’22 meeting, which included various events surrounding the Dragon Boat activity.
Teams from 10 European countries competed in the 14th edition of the European Nations Championship and the KYIUV international cup.
During this same period, companies and groups were invited to the 9th Banyoles Dragon Boat Festival, with 15 teams and a total of 300 sportspeople taking part.
The programme of activities included the Dragon Boat Fest, with leisure and sporting activities open to all, a craft market, workshops and performances that rounded off some very special days organised around this sport.
A sport with an ancient history
Dragon boat racing has been a type of regulation canoeing for almost fifty years. It originates from ancient Chinese traditions inspired by the figure of the dragon.
It is an activity suitable for all, easy to learn, fun and very exciting.
Based on this sporting practice, Dragon Boat Emotions organises teamworking activities for corporate groups.
The incomparable natural environment of Banyoles Lakes is the perfect setting for this group activity. There is a wide range of high-quality accommodation and restaurants in Pla de l’Estany and Garrotxa that offer all the necessary services to host business groups.
