This is a pairing of gourmet food with heritage and culture. You’ll have the chance to discover for yourself the ancient cork-making profession and to visit the leading cork museum in Europe, where one of the most important elements is the museum building itself. During the guided tour you’ll learn about the important influence of gastronomy on the cork industry workers’ way of life. Afterwards, at La Sala Gran in Llofriu, you’ll enjoy a culinary experience provided by chef Isaac Sabrià, with the chance to sample a selection of dishes that were normally eaten by people in the area: the cork-makers’ tapas, a trip down memory lane.
