In conjunction with Eventoplus, the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau held a training seminar aimed at its members, agencies and professional planners.
The seminar comprised two days of training sessions, led by Eventoplus, at Domus Sent Soví in Hostalric and at Mas Les Comelles in La Vall d’en Bas.
The sessions will cover how to draft a briefing and different types of proposals. During the course the participants will develop projects that will be evaluated by the whole group.
The agencies and professional organizers then took part in a FamTrip that started with a lunch at Domus Sent Soví, followed by a visit to Girona’s historic quarter, with the series Game of Thrones as the guiding thread. Later on, at Peralada Resort, they had the opportunity to visit the facilities and to enjoy a poker masterclass after dinner.
This training course offered by the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau is designed to respond to the challenge of the continuous evolution of the MICE sector by providing the tools that its members and professional event planners need to stay up to date with the latest innovations and trends. At the same time, the courses aim to build relationships between the members of the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau and professional agencies, who may later become clients.
Xavier Ricomà, product manager at Box de Ideas
… a lot of networking, both with members of the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau and with the rest of the participants through the workshops given by Eventoplus. I enjoyed the visit to Girona enormously, a new city which could be ideal for our clients, and the first-class gastronomy that delighted us at the lunches and dinner.
Juan Ignacio Collado, managing director of Imagine Events & Incentives
I really like this FamTrip format where I can get to know interesting places and exchange experiences with colleagues in the profession and suppliers. I came away with several ideas that we’ll definitely implement for upcoming events. Girona looks amazing!
