Some fifty customers of a well-known banking institution enjoyed an incentive experience on the Costa Brava with gastronomy, the sea and culture playing the protagonist roles.
The agency DMC Fil Mediterranean Travel Designers was responsible for the design and production of the programme that lasted three days and in which taking care of every detail and the surprise factor were the main ingredients.
Top level gastronomy
On the first day, the expectations were very high with an exclusive workshop on pairing wines given by Josep Roca. This took place in Mas Marroch, the events area of El Celler de Can Roca, where the group were then able to enjoy the gastronomy of one of the best restaurants in the world.
Dalí close-up
While the group was having its corporate meeting in the facilities at Hotel Castell d’Empordà, where they were staying, their companions enjoyed the “Intimate Dalí” experience visiting the Empordà countryside and the mediaeval villages that inspired the brilliant painter, and ended up with a visit to the Gala-Dalí Castle-Museum in Púbol. Accompanied at all times by a local ambassador, the participants got to know the history of Dalí and his muse, as well as anecdotes and curiosities about the Empordà artist.
Genuine sea experience
When they reached the port of Palamós, Rafael —a one hundred-year-old lateen fishing boat that had been restored and refurbished by Tela Marinera— was waiting for them. Visiting some of the best protected corners of the Costa Brava, such as the Formigues Isles or the Castell natural site, the visitors got to know histories of pirates and fishermen, the heritage of the seafaring past of the landscape they were enjoying in front of them.
