The Costa Brava Girona destination’s business tourism products were presented at the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France, a developing area that is just two hours from Paris by train with the new Bordeaux-Paris line. Several Parisian agencies have opened offices here and new agencies have been formed.
The 13 organising agencies we visited in Bordeaux and Biarritz expressed interest in offering new options to their best clients and alternatives to the large cities in the Basque Country and Barcelona.
They showed considerable interest in the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees option, both due to its proximity and easy access by TGV, and to the shared values between the two regions, such as authenticity, gastronomy and the savoir faire of the business tourism industry’s professionals.
