The Gothic cloister of the ancient Dominican convent (1253) and the single-nave church of Sant Domènec, constitute one the city’s most historically and artistically valuable sites. Having suffered many vicissitudes, the complex now houses part of the University of Girona (Humanities and Tourism faculties).
