Activities
A music-oriented visit to the Sant Feliu de Guíxols Benedictine monastery, with explanations that not only cover the monastery and its monks but “take” to the street to meet up with the typical life of the medieval world in this area of Empordà. The music of duo Pedro Burruezo and Maia Kanaan Burruezo brings medieval, Moorish, and Sephardic sounds to life… The visit ends with a glass of champagne in the Hort del Rector garden paired with two musical pieces.
This is a theatrical visit to the Sant Feliu de Guíxols Benedictine monastery, where participants will don a cape and tour the inside of the monastery as novice monks. A guide will explain the schedule, work and facilities that will now form your daily routine. The tour includes a visit to the interior of the monastery’s Romanesque towers, the church, museum exhibitions, etc.
Traditional monastery recipes are the basis of the menu for this dinner or tasting, held in El Ginjoler restaurant in the monastery’s former refectory.
