Representatives from the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau met with over 50 professionals from agencies all over the world in the course of the three-day IBTM World, the international trade show for professionals from the meetings, incentives, conventions and events tourism sector held annually in Barcelona.

The organisers and managers of corporate event companies welcomed the province of Girona’s meetings tourism offering as an alternative destination to the big European cities, thanks to its distinctive and competitive range of options.

From the Catalonia stand, the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau promoted the region’s MICE offering, with the assistance of other companies and entities from different parts of Girona, including the Girona City Convention Bureau & Congress Center, the Lloret Convention Bureau, Evenia Hotels, Peralada Resort and PGA Catalunya Resort.

This year’s edition of IBTM attracted over 15,000 purchasers from all five continents and over 3,000 exhibitors.
